Hi, hey, hello, bonjour! My name is Lauren Fussell, that is pronounced like Russell, but with and “F!” I am your not so average, 20-year-old sophomore Fashion Merchandise major, with a minor in advertising. This year, I am hoping to expand my knowledge through my retail class, and even share some insights to you all through my blog! My Visual Merchandising and Store Design class will set me apart from others, as I gain the knowledge and experience needed for the design field. I started my journey with fashion as me and my mother designed and decorated our entire house, that we currently live in today. After that, I took drafting and architecture courses in high school to further my “eye for design.”

     As of right now, I have a few ideas as far as possible careers after college, being my first is an interior designer, or athletic wear designer; however, I would never turn down any internship in the fashion world. My life began as I was born in Charlotte, the youngest child of four, to the parents of Rhonda and Dale Fussell; Once again, its pronounced like Russell, but with an “F!” The oldest of my siblings was my brother Brandon, but unfortunately, he passed away when he was 21 years old. Despite such a heartache, we are still very close, and who value family first, and foremost. Family trips are a huge element to us, like when we went to the fashion capital Paris, that I am SO eager to share with you all! Even at 20 years old, I have seen and been through a lot, but still have a very positive attitude, love my family, God, and fashion! I hope you all view life the same way, and I can’t wait to share some of my design secrets and tips, for a healthy, happy lifestyle!
